We know that school library staff are constantly juggling priorities. Between helping students find the right resources, supporting teachers, running events, and managing collections, there's rarely enough time in the day. That’s why we’ve made sure LearnPath comes with a collection of downloadable guides that are ready to use from day one.

These guides are created by our experienced and qualified teacher librarian, with a deep understanding of how school libraries support learning across different year levels. They’re aligned to the Australian Curriculum and designed to support a range of subjects, from History and Geography to Science, English, and more.

Whether you're setting up an inquiry unit for Year 5 or building research skills with your senior students, there’s a guide to help you do it faster and with confidence.

And the best part? You can customise them to suit your school, your students, and your teaching team. Use them as-is, tweak them to reflect your library’s style, or draw inspiration to create something of your own.

How to Import these Guides into your system 

If you’re a LearnPath user, importing one of these guides is quick and easy:

1. Download the PDF 
2. Click on the image of the guide in the PDF to open it in the Hub.
3. Copy the URL from the top of the page.
4. In your LearnPath admin dashboard, go to Add new guide and choose:
   • Import at this menu level – to add the guide at the same level
   • Import below this guide – to nest it under an existing guide
5. Choose Import from Hub, then paste the URL you copied earlier.
6. Click Import, and the guide will appear in your LearnPath instance, ready for editing or use as-is!

Tip: If the Library Slider is empty, click the pencil icon to check the search restrictions.
