In the everyday hustle of school life, the library is a special place where knowledge, imagination, and discovery come together. Australian School Library Day is our chance to celebrate these spaces that are at the heart of learning, where stories come to life, and anything feels possible. It’s also a day to recognise the incredible librarians who spark a love of reading and learning in students. Let’s take a closer look at the magic of school libraries, as told by the librarians themselves in the 2023 School Library Survey.

The insights shared by librarians across the country highlight the deep impact school libraries have on students. They spark curiosity, encourage critical thinking, and inspire a lifelong love of learning.
