ACCESS journal, ASLA, volume 33, issue 1, March 2019

The March 2019 edition of ACCESS Journal of the Australian School Library Association (Vol. 33, No. 1) includes an article titled School library staff share: Ideas for promoting the library by Softlink Education Director of Marketing, Nikki Curtis.

The article presents a selection of comments shared by Australian school library staff as part of the 2018 Softlink School Library Survey in response to the question, “What practices are in place or what ideas do you have to promote the library, the services it provides, or the role and skills of the school library staff at your school?”.

We put the same question to school library staff in New Zealand, the Asia Pacific, Europe and the United Kingdom, and received a variety of inspiring and innovative responses. We’ve collated these responses for publication in a global feature document, School libraries share: Ideas for promoting the library, which is available for download from the Softlink Education blog.

For other feature documents, survey reports, and articles of interest to school library professionals, we invite you to visit the resources section of our website and follow us on Twitter @SoftlinkEdu.
