Smart Cataloguing Interface on Mac Display

Users of Oliver v5 benefit from regular new feature updates, which are developed in direct response to feedback and insights provided by our active User Community.

Two of the most recently added new features, Smart Cataloguing and Due-Between Dates, are designed to make things even easier for busy school librarians.

Smart Cataloguing simplifies your cataloguing process, allowing you to add new resources and copies using only a barcode scanner. A control card with barcodes for the most common commands is provided, so there’s no need for a keyboard or mouse to complete your regular workflows. Your activity is saved and displayed as you go, so you can easily keep track of your progress and make changes as necessary.

Due-Between Dates give you greater flexibility when setting up overdue notices. You can now choose to send reminders based on a date range, rather than a specific due date, making it easier to manage your busy end-of-term or end-of-semester periods.

To find out more about the new features in Oliver v5, or to refresh your existing knowledge, users can join one of our free webinars.
